Disney Collectibles 1: Winnie-the-Pooh Mini Bean Bag Plushes, Part 3

Food, Flowers, and So On . . .

If you haven't read part 1 of this article, at least hit the introduction to the descriptions. There is some necessary information, such as definitions of terms, which I don't repeat here. Also don't forget to hit the general searches section; it's often the only way to find a specific Pooh.

The purpose of this series of articles is to assist collectors in distinguishing similar or similarly named Pooh mini bean bag plushes from around the globe from those released exclusively in Asia. The first article dealt with all Poohs released in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as Japanese Poohs taking on human roles; the second, with holiday and special event Poohs released in Japan. In this month's descriptions of Japan-exclusive releases, in addition to flowers and some others, I feature Pooh in his favorite theme: food.

A Smackerel of Something

Pooh is so eager for something to eat that he's willing to be one! Sometimes the designers give Pooh a snack, but usually they dress him as food instead. By the way, Poohs based on food related to specific events or holidays are found among the special occasions Poohs.

LS Cake Pooh (Jan 2001): This was the first "Disney Fan" Pooh: one that was designed by a fan and selected from among other contestants to be made into a MBBP. In this one, Pooh is an elaborate cake. his body is chocolate brown; he has a band of raspberry pink around his middle; to his right is a white lollipop with pink stripes and to his left is a gingerbread cookie. He has a white collar with a wave edge (whipped cream?). On his head is a cap of raspberry pink, topped with whipped cream and a strawberry. I haven't seen anything else quite like it.

Cherry Pooh (Jul 2002): Despite the release date, this does bean does not seem to be part of the 2002 Fruit Series. I'm not sure I found this Pooh. The site that gave the release date did not have pictures, and the only Cherry Pooh picture I found had no release date given. In the picture the usual Little Stars Pooh wears his usual red "Pooh" shirt and holds two cherries, one pink and one orange. I can't tell if the photo frame made to look like a jar of berry jam is attached to his right leg or just sitting next to him.

LS Corn Pooh (Aug 2001): A Disney Fan design, this is Pooh as an ear of corn. Pooh's body and head are entirely contained within the cob; he sits on a seat of pealed back corn husks of bright green. The US's Corn Dress Up Pooh had Pooh's head coming out of the top of the ear, with his body and head encased in the corn husks, which ended above his head, almost like a crown.

    Little Star Fruit Series (2001)

Melon Pooh (Apr 2001): Pooh dresses as and carries a honeydew melon. He and it are in the same pale green fabric with a pattern of brown lines making square diamonds with wavy sides over it. Pooh has a green pointy collar running around his neck and a small green stem on the top of his hood. The melon he holds has a small green stem too. The keychain was identical. I did see a similar, unidentified Pooh on auction on YJ. He had an open mouth, no collar, and was holding a slice of melon rather than a whole one, but he probably wasn't a bean.

Pear Pooh (Apr 2001): In the palest of yellows, Pooh honors the Japanese pear. He has a green collar; I think the points that hang around are rounded rather than pointy the way the melon's are, but I can't be sure. He and the pear he holds each have a small brown stem. A similar but unidentified Pooh appeared on YJ: again, he had an open mouth and I don't think he was a bean. Just in case, though; his pear suit was a much more golden shade of yellow and he had small brown flecks on him.

Strawberry Pooh (Apr 2001): Pooh is a furry red strawberry, as well as holding one in his paws, the green side down. His suit is flecked with yellow spots. He has a dark green pointy collar around his neck, and on the top of his strawberry cap is a circle with a pointy border and a stem sticking up through the center of it. There is an identical dangle. Be careful to distinguish this from the later Japanese Strawberry Pooh, which is the one that most closely resembles it. There was a similar one I saw for auction on YJ, but that was a regular and probably nonbean Pooh that, rather than having a whole strawberry encasing his head, had a cap made of the green end of a strawberry and the fruit immediately around it. He did not hold a strawberry. The UK Strawberry Pooh of 2001 is nothing like these: that's Pooh as himself, holding a strawberry (green side up). He comes in a giant zip-up strawberry.

Banana Pooh (June 2001): That banana hat looks pretty comical on our favorite stuffed bear. With it, his head slopes to a gentle brown point. He has a green collar of about six long oval leaves and holds a banana horizontally, one paw on each end. The dangle is the same in miniature.

Grape Pooh (Jun 2001): Like the other fruit Poohs in this series, Pooh's head and body are each grapes and he holds a bunch of grapes in his hands. His suit and his grapes are a brilliant purple. His grapes and his cap each have a large grape leaf attached to them and he has a collar of grape leaves, all the leaves being a very vivid green. There's no trouble telling him from the Grape Dress Up Pooh released in the US, which was a pale lavender and had Pooh himself as a bunch of grapes (that is, he has small lavender spheres attached to his body to the point of hiding it) rather than carrying a bunch of them.

Peach Pooh (Jun 2001): Pooh makes an adorable white peach. He gets rosy at the slight point on his head, just as the peach he's holding gets pink at its top, too. His peach has two long leaves of soft green, one going left and one going right; at his throat a larger pair of leaves of the same color go back over his shoulders as if they're part of a cape.

Watermelon Pooh (Jun 2001): Unlike the American and Hong Kong Watermelon Poohs, this Japanese Pooh's body is a whole uncut watermelon. He holds in his hands a nice big red slice, though; he holds it right up under his mouth, ready to eat it! The suit of this Pooh is a deep green with very dark green stripes, and no pink lining is seen to his hood. Unlike the other fruits, his collar seems to be of his fruit and not his leaves: it's a series of red points all the way around. There is a small stem on his cap. There are a few other watermelon-eating Poohs, but none of the ones that are also watermelons seem to be MBBPs (the other one I saw was a regular Pooh and looked to be a bigger toy).

Little Stars Fruit Series (2002): Instead of being dressed as different fruits, Pooh holds different ones--a situation he doubtless prefers. I've also seen this called the "Fruit and Nut Series." The dangles for this series are all of Pooh and a bee on top of the various fruits. (Well, the Orange dangle has the bee sitting on Pooh's right paw.)

Orange Pooh (Jul 2002): Pooh holds on his lap an orange almost as big as himself! He's wearing his favorite red shirt (can't tell if there's any writing on the front), and he has a bee sitting on his left paw. The orange has periodic tiny embroidered ovals (meant to give it the texture of an orange skin, I guess), an orange stem with a blue strip swirling around it, and one green leaf.

Apple Pooh (Aug 2002): The same Pooh as the previous month holds a shiny red apple, with a brown stem and one green leaf. A bee perches on the apple near its stem.

Chestnut Pooh (Sep 2002): This time, Pooh is looking off to his left, but otherwise he is the same as the other Poohs in this series. In front of him is a shaggy brown disk (possibly a husk that chestnuts come in? I know almost nothing about chestnuts ^_^) and two chestnuts, which are brown and pale yellow with brown specks. There is a third chestnut sitting on top of Pooh's left arm--it looks like he is holding it there with his cheek. The bee sits by Pooh's left ear. I was able to find a back view of this Pooh: he has a chestnut embroidered on the lower left part of his back. I would suppose that the Orange and Apple Poohs have their fruits embroidered in the same location, but I was unable to confirm this.

Little Stars Fruit Punch Series (Apr 2003): Three previously released Pooh fruits are rereleased in literally shiny new editions. In general, they're the Little Stars Poohs, but their legs are directly beneath their bodies. Pooh is only dressed as the fruit in this series; he doesn't hold any.

Pineapple Pooh: Pooh's legs stick out of his pineapple suit a fair distance, unlike his 2000 Pineapple Pooh predecessor, and he has distinct feet. His suit is quilted in the same pattern as the earlier edition, but it's of a shiny yellow fabric, and he has a circular, slightly gathered orange collar around his neck. There is a single short leaf at the top of his hood, but it has five points on top. There is a buruburu version; I don't know what Pooh does if you pull on the pineapple that's sitting in front of him, but in other regards he's exactly like the regular bean. I did see one other pineapple Pooh, but it was on auction, so I'm not sure of its origin. It was a regular Pooh, and his pineapple suit has slight sleeves that came just over his shoulders. He had zigzag horizontal brown lines to give the pineapple effect and a small pineapple cradled in his left arm.

Strawberry Pooh: Pooh is dressed in deep red, white-flecked satin. He has a pale green circular collar, again slightly gathered, around his throat. At the top of his cap is the green part of a strawberry--it has seven points on it, a green stem in the middle, and is of a much deeper green than the collar. He's closest to the earlier Japanese Strawberry Pooh, but he's not holding a strawberry and his collar is of such a different color.

Watermelon Pooh: The bottom half of Pooh's body and the hood that covers his head are of shiny bright green watermelon rind with dark green wavy stripes. Around his waist is a white band of inner rind and the top half of his body is shiny deep pink watermelon meat, complete with black teardrop seeds. A purple circular collar with slight gathers goes around his throat, and there's a small T-shaped stem at the top of his cap. None of the other Watermelon Poohs resembles him.

LS Ice Cream Pooh (Apr 2003): Pooh with an ice cream treat! This isn't the usual Little Stars Pooh, though: his head is tilted up and he's more tan than yellow. He has quite a dish in front of him, though. The scoop of ice cream (cherry or raspberry with vanilla chips?) is as big as his body! There's a cherry on top and a wedge-shaped wafer cookie on the side. He has a felt spoon to eat it with. The ice cream is removeable, apparently a piece at a time (I know the cherry comes off the sundae). When they were released, Disney said there would be different flavors, but I've only seen the one flavor with each kind of toy in the series; maybe they meant each toy would have a different flavor. One of the keychain versions has a dish of pale green ice cream (green tea? mint? pistachio?) that is otherwise like the MBBP's. The other keychain has Pooh riding a giant ice cream cone with a paler pink ice cream (strawberry?). His cone is white with pink trim and multicolored sprinkles. The buruburu version has two dips on his ice cream cone; maybe his left paw is on his mouth to stiffle his laughter at that fact! He is looking off to the left; in front of him, cradled in his right arm is the ice cream cone. The cone looks exactly like the keychain's only this one has a light green scoop of ice cream and, on top of that scoop, one of the same white-flecked deep pink ice cream that the MBBP has. Doubtless if you pull on the cone, Pooh quickly reclaims it.

LS Kiwi Pooh (Jul 2001): Despite the release date, this Pooh is not a member of the 2001 Fruit series. Pooh's kiwi suit is of a very shaggy chocolate brown material. In his paws, he hold a kiwi with the end cut off so that you can see the green flesh. He has a collar of green points.

LS Pineapple Pooh (Apr 2000): This edition looks like Pooh has been engulfed by a pineapple, his feet barely stick out at the bottom. His suit is of regular yellow cloth, quilted to give square diamonds all over it. His hood has five very long jagged leaves sticking up from the top.

Little Stars Sushi Poohs (Aug 2000): Pooh is dressed as Japan's most famous food. There are five varieties; in each Pooh's body and head are woolly white, to mimic the special rice that defines sushi.

Shrimp Sushi Pooh: Pooh wears a piece of steamed shrimp on his back, held on by straps of "nori" (the seaweed used in sushi) around his arms, as if the shrimp were a backpack. The body of the shrimp is made of iridescent pink material; its tail is red.

Salmon Roe Sushi Pooh: Here the nori is wrapped around the sides of a bunch of small orange spheres piled on top of each other. At the top is a green oval (a pickled vegetable, if I remember correctly). The entire thing is also held onto Pooh's back by nori straps around his arms.

Octopus Sushi Pooh: A long white oval with a dark purple border (that is, a slice of steamed octopus) is strapped to Pooh's back with more nori. The purple border has purple circles mounted on it, with a white spot within each circle (suction cups from the tentacles).

Sea Urchin Sushi Pooh: At the bottom is a round orange circle with a green circle above it (sorry, can't help--I've never had sea urchin sushi!). Like the salmon roe, some nori is required around the sides to hold it together and to strap it to Pooh.

Egg Sushi Pooh: Pooh's block of scrambled egg is attached around his waist with a dark green strip of nori. Although the band partially obscures the text, the writing on the egg is Pooh's name in Japanese, Kuma no Puu-san: Ç‚ÇÐÇÃÉvÅ[Ç„ÇÒ

LS Very Berry Pooh (Apr 2002): Technically, the name is "Beri Beri Pooh," but given the differing phonetic structure of Japanese, "very" comes out as "beri," just as "berry" does. Given that Japanese often emphasizes something (that is, adds "very") by repeating the item in question, I think that Disney was being punny again. Pooh wears his usual red shirt, although you can't see if it says "POOH" on it because he's holding a red and white picnic tablecloth full of different crocheted berries on it. A bee has settled by his left ear. I haven't seen anything else close.

Flowers

Flowers may not be so exciting as food, but they're nice things to have about, so Pooh is often seen with his favorites.

Dandelion Pooh (Feb 2002): This edition is also known as "Tampopo" or "Tanpopo Pooh" (two ways of transliterating the Japanese word for "dandelion"). He is one of the pale, rosy-cheeked Poohs and wears a red short-sleeved shirt with a shirt collar. He sits on a round white cushion (assumably dandelion fluff) with a dandelion blossom on the ground in front of him, one on his left ear, and one on the ground behind his left hip. He holds, with the blossom to his right, a fluffy white dandelion on which a ladybug has decided to rest. The buruburu version has no shirt collar or cushion and has his dandelions in a pot. I've seen a Japanese Dandelion Pooh of a similar design; although the YJ seller did not identify it as such, my guess is that it is one of the dangle designs. The main Pooh is the same, but he doesn't have his white cushion. He does have a round cream-colored cushion that he is holding so that the top faces the viewer. I'm not sure what it's supposed to be, but on top is a white dandelion, with one leaf going to the left and another to the right and a ladybug on top of it.

Gerbera Pooh (Apr 2002): Also known as "Gerber Daisy Pooh," the usual Little Stars Pooh, in his red, collarless shirt, holds a bouquet of gerbera flowers. There appear to be two bright yellow and two pale yellow ones. A ladybug perches in the center of one of them. In the dangle version, there are only two gerbera and the ladybug is a decal on Pooh's right hip.

Morning Glory (Asagao) Pooh (May 2002): A rosy-cheeked Pooh holds a potted morning glory that has one blue and one purple blossom. Pooh wears a white shirt with a morning glory pattern on it. It looks like he may have a pale blue morning glory around his left ear--the angle's wrong for me to be sure. The dangle is the same. There is a buruburu version that looks the same only he has a fan with morning glories on it instead of a plant. If you pull his string, he waves the fan.

New Flower Pooh (Apr 2000): The original "Flower Pooh," actually the Mother's Day Pooh from 1999, was a simultaneous US/UK/Japanese release that had Pooh in his "POOH" shirt holding four flowers (pink, orange, yellow, lavender) with large yellow pom-pom centers. In these Poohs--there is a blue, a pink, and a yellow edition--a regular Pooh is dressed as a flower. He is wearing his usual shirt, but around his neck like a collar is a seven-petalled flower with long rounded petals and a pointed oval leaf extending to the right and to the left. A green hood comes up as far as Pooh's ears, but no farther (and from the pictures, often slips off). There is a bee sitting on Pooh's left hand. It looks like there was an earlier American release, also called New Flower Pooh, that is very similar; the only difference I could see was that Pooh's mouth was open. In the Japanese beans, it's closed.

Rose Pooh (Apr 2002): The usual Little Stars Pooh holds a bouquet of five roses, three red and two dark pink. He's wearing his red shirt and he has a pale pink butterfly with dark pink borders on its wings sitting on his head, just left of center. There was a photo frame version of this one: the same Pooh holding a frame that I guess is supposed to be a wreath of roses; it's a ring looks like it was made by putting dark pink watercolor paint over light pink (it's got a bleed effect). There are two roses in the upper corner of the frame, to Pooh's right. Just in front of his left ear is the same butterfly on the other Rose Pooh.

LS Sunflower Pooh (Apr 2000): Sunflowers must be Pooh's favorite for he never goes so far in his attempt to be any other flower. Pooh wears a green suit on his body and a green collar of four large leaves around his neck. Around his face are many closely packed pointed yellow petals. He holds a sunflower across his body (the head of it is on his right), and a bee has settled in the center of the flower. There's a buruburu version (I don't know what it does) that has a bee on Pooh's head and has Pooh holding a pot of sunflowers rather than a single flower. The dangle looks to be the same as the regular bean but Pooh doesn't hold a flower and he has a bee on the upper left corner of his head, just like the buruburu.

LS Tulip Pooh (Apr 2002): Pooh in his red short-sleeved shirt, holds a bouquet of four tulips, two pink and two white. He has a bee by his left ear. Unlike the Dandelion and Morning Glory Poohs released about the same time, he's the usual yellow Little Stars model, not the pale one with rosy cheeks.

And So On

I hate miscellaneous sections, but I really didn't know how else to classify the series of weather phenomena or facial expressions. I am open to suggestions.

Little Stars Color Power Series (2004): I've seen this series called "Color Powerful" and "Colorful Power" but it's clearly transliterated on TDS's site as "Color Power." Each month in 2004, a different color will be featured.

Color Power White (Jan 2004): It looks like Pooh tried to make a snowman and fell down a hill instead. He's encased in a giant fluffy snowball, with two red mittens and a broom stuck to its surface. Pooh is wearing a pale blue hat and muffler; there are white pom-poms on the ends of the muffler and the peak of the hat. The Pooh of the dangle version seems to have had more luck: in his usual red shirt, without the hat or scarf, Pooh clings to a completed snowman. The snowman has a red nose; black eyes, mouth, eyebrows, and buttons; and a blue bucket hat (with a yellow handle). There's a third version I've seen; it's the right size for a MBBP, but TDS didn't have it labeled so on their site, so perhaps it's a standard plush or the buruburu version. It's Pooh from the MBBP version, only the snowball is in front of him rather than encasing him and it's made of white fur rather than white wool.

Color Power Aqua (Feb 2004): Now Pooh is playing with soap bubbles. In the MBBP version, he's on top of a mass of soap bubbles of a very pale aqua (approaching what the Japanese call "mizuiro"--lit., "water color"). His left ear is covered by a smaller mass of bubbles. The yellow rubber ducky that was in the tub has been carried away too. In the dangle version, Pooh has no soap on his head, but he's been engulfed by the soap bubbles! The duck is magically hanging beneath the mass of bubbles. I guess that's "Color Power" for you.

Color Power Green (March 2004): Literally, this is yellowish green (kimidori), but given the differences in the Japanese and Western notions of "green" and "blue," as well as the appearance of the actual bean, simply "green" seems the best translation to me. Pooh, in his usual attire, sits on a large plush four-leaf clover and clutches the stem of another one between his paws. From a Western perspective, the stem he holds and two of the leaves of that clover are actually peacock blue, with the other two being emerald green. The clover on which he is seated has two dark green and two light green leaves; the front dark green leaf is to the left and the light green one to the right. The stem of this clover is dark green and to the left, and on the clover in front of Pooh are (on the left) a ladybug and (to the right) what appears to be a white flower. There are also things on the clover to Pooh's right and left, but I cannot distinguish them. The keychain is Pooh clinging to the top of a big puffy four-leaf clover, which, other than the puffiness, is like the one the MBBP is seated on. One of the dark green leaves faces forward and nestled in the cleft of the leaf is a bee.

Color Power Pink (Apr 2004): The usually dressed Pooh sits in a white flower pot with a pink rim and a pink bow with white polka dots tied around it. The pot sits on a small bit of soft green grass, and Pooh clutches three flowers, one pale pink and two deep pink, in his paws. I can't tell if the pink thing by his left ear is a butterfly or a blossom. The details of the keychain are a little harder to discern, but it's distinct enough that I think there should be no confusion. Pooh sits on the poofy center of a pink flower. The five short round petals look like satin fur and may have darker pink dots on them. There are two soft green leaves, one stretching out to either side of the flower. In front of Pooh, on the front petal, is what appears to be a yellow butterfly.

Color Power Lavender (May 2004): Pooh is in a big lavender hunny pot. A "splash" of yellow honey wells out in front of him, a bee sits on his nose, and the lid of the pot rests on his head like a hat. The dangle version has Pooh sitting on top of a purple hunny pot using very pale yellow honey. A bee is on a yellow cord attached to Pooh's clasped hands, at the ends of his upstretched arms.

Color Power Pale Blue (June 2004): Technically, the color is mizuiro--literally, "water color" and hence often mistranslated as "aqua." Mizuiro isn't blue-green, however; it's simply pale blue. Pooh rides in an upturned umbrella of the appropriate color, with a bee sitting at the highest point of the handle. The dangle is the same except there is no bee.

Expression Series (Jun 2002): Here Pooh is his usual self, in his red shirt, with "Pooh" stitched on it yellow. He demonstrates three facial expressions, which give their names to the beans: Smile, Wink, and Sleep. Smile is pretty much what you see on most Little Stars Poohs: he has the closed-mouth smile that you can't really see from the front. Wink is winking his right eye (and, it appears, sticking out his tongue to the left, although that may be supposed to be the corner of his mouth being open). Sleep also smiles, but he has his eyes closed.

Pooh with Friends: Also see the Friendship Day releases in the special occasions article.

LS Good Friends Pooh and Piglet (Oct 2002): A basic LS Pooh, in his red shirt with "Pooh" on it in white, holds a toy Piglet cradeled in his left arm. The tag on Piglet reads (in English), "We are good friends." There's a bee on the tag, and one sitting on Pooh's right shoulder.

LS Good Friends Pooh and Tigger (Jan 2003): This time the Little Stars Pooh holds Tigger squarely on his lap, Tigger's right and left paws in his right and left paws. Tigger is made out of terry cloth and has a tag with "We are good friends" and a bee on it.

LS Pooh with Roo (Nov 2003): Pooh and his favorite young kangaroo. Pooh wears his usual red shirt; Roo sits between his legs, with his body facing Pooh's right, but his head turned and his left paw stretched out toward the viewer. Roo's right paw rests right where Pooh's right arm joins his body, and Pooh is hugging his little friend. There's an identical keychain of this sweet pair.

LS Pooh and Piglet (Dec 2003): It's just a Little Stars Pooh in his regular red shirt holding a regular Piglet up so they can hug cheek to cheek. They're looking off to Pooh's right and smiling big. What more could you want?

    Unusual materials

Toweling Pooh (Apr 2002): Pooh made out of terry cloth. His shirt--the regular red one, with "Pooh" (as if written by a child) on it--is not terry. His nose is embroidered brown and his legs are right underneath his body, but he's otherwise the Little Stars bear. There was a matching dangle.

Mini Leather Pooh (Apr 2002): Unfortunately I was unable to find a labeled photo of this Pooh. I am not sure which of the many leather Poohs I've seen is this one.

Gel Pooh (Jul 2002): I'm not sure what makes this a "Gel Pooh" (I've also heard it called "New Pooh with Gel"). It looks like a regular Pooh with a Little Stars shaped head and gone very fuzzy, except for his "Pooh" shirt. He's also an orangier yellow than than regular Poohs usually are. I would suspect that he's not a bean but filled with gel and just mistakenly listed with beans by people who had never seen it, but one reliable site, where the creator had separated all the Pooh stuffed toy pictures on the site by kind of toy, had this Pooh among the MBBPs and, if I'm following the text correctly, says that although "Gel Pooh 2" (looks the same only slightly less fuzzy and with his eyebrows back) is not a bean bag, Gel 1 is.

Candy-Colored Poohs (Sep 2002): I've also seen these called "Pastel Poohs." I went with "Candy-Colored" because the yellow one looked much too bright to me to be called "pastel"; in fact, in the pictures I've seen, it looks brighter than the Large Bean Bag Plush Pastel Yellow Pooh that was released earlier that year. Regardless, there were three MBBPs: purple, pink, and yellow. The purple and the pink ones were quite pale shades of their colors, and all the Poohs had his facial features in plastic of an appropriate darker color (brown, in the yellow one's case). Each Pooh wore a velour shirt of a brighter version of his color with "POOH" embroidered on the front of it in the color of Pooh himself (making the name barely readable on the yellow bear) as well as a bee (in regular bee colors). These Poohs have magnets in their hands, so they can hold hands with each other. The dangles were identical except that they didn't have bees on their shirts.

    Little Stars Weather series

Rainy Day Pooh (Jun 2002): Pooh is dressed in a suit and hood of shiny fur of a bright light blue; there are two drop shaped patches of blue felt of the same color on each arm. He has a white collar that is scalloped all the way around and holds a closed yellow umbrella with a red handle. The umbrella is smiling. The keychain is identical. The Rainy Day Poohs released by other countries were all of Pooh wearing a variety of raincoats.

Rainbow Pooh (Jul 2002): Pooh wears a suit and hood of deep orange that also has magenta feet, a yellow collar that has points all the way around, one magenta and one yellow mini pom-pom balls on each arm, and a large red pom-pom on top of his head. He holds a rainbow of turquoise, yellow, and magenta with a fluffy, white, smiling cloud on the right side of it.

Sunny Day Pooh (Jul 2002): I couldn't find a picture of this bean; I suspect that someone has the name for the Rainbow Pooh wrong, although the Rainbow Pooh was also mentioned in the same place. If it does exist, I suppose we can speculate so far as to say that Pooh is wearing a suit and hood of some bright color (probably yellow), that he is holding a sun, and may have two pom-poms, each of a different color, on his arms.

Cloudy Day Pooh (Aug 2002): Pooh is dressed in a suit and hood of woolly gray. On his head is a white fluffy cloud, and there is another, smiling, in his arms. His collar is also of white cloud and on each arm he has one gray and one white mini pom-pom. The dangle is the same, although its collar is noticeably less prominent.

Next time, the final installment of the Pooh MBBPs series: Pooh as animals other than himself!
