1 Yen Nintendo 2DS with Working Stick and Yōkai Watch: Authentic Sets Featuring Strong Data Characters

1 / 1

Description

Both the 2DS and the Yōkai Watch cartridges have been tested for functionality.
Nintendo 2DS Red FTR-S-RCAA
Brand: Nintendo 2DS
Contents: Console, included SD card, and the Yōkai Watch 2 Shinuchi and Honke cartridges.
Also includes data from the popular mobile game Nyanko Great War, which I had previously purchased. The touch pen is not included. The stick (slide pad) of the 2DS has a cover that is peeling off, but this does not affect functionality—games can be played without issue. If you find it uncomfortable, you can purchase a replacement slide pad for around 600 yen. I checked the settings and confirmed that there is no issue with the slide pad.
The Yōkai Watch 2 Honke was bought from Mercari and has been heavily played, costing about 3000 yen. The Shinuchi has not been played as much.
Dislikes trouble, so please judge by the photos. Not accepting overly picky buyers. Returns are not accepted. Please feel free to comment if you have any concerns.

Collector Commentary

The Nintendo 2DS remains a key piece of Japan's portable gaming history, particularly when bundled with region-locked Yōkai Watch cartridges that saw significant domestic sales during the franchise's peak (2014-2016). The Red FTR-S-RCAA model is a standard production unit, but its value to collectors lies in the paired Yōkai Watch 2 dual-version set (Honke and Shinuchi) with established save data—these cartridges command premiums in the secondary market due to wear patterns and save integrity mattering to completionists. The worn slide pad and missing stylus are typical degradation points for heavily played units; functionality confirmation is critical since replacement parts cost money and affect perceived condition. Japan domestic pricing and early-run software bundles remain collector priorities for those building comprehensive Yōkai Watch or Nintendo handheld archives.
