This is an original North American version, sealed and unopened, of Pokémon Red (ポケットモンスター赤). If the shrink wrap is opened, its value will drop to less than 1/5. There is also a risk of it being swapped with a counterfeit item, so please note that this product is non-refundable. Due to the item being non-refundable, please bid carefully. Though it is new, the box has sustained damage: - The top is significantly crushed and has a large clearance (see photo comparisons 7-8). - The bottom and right side are lightly crushed, and there is a small tear on the bottom right corner. - The top left corner is crushed with a small tear (refer to the photos). - There are other damages that I may not be aware of. The shrink wrap (which corresponds to the Seal Rating in WATA) has developed uneven waves, particularly at the top and bottom of the surface (see the first photo), and the shrink has evenly spaced small holes. (Fake items tend to have a cheap package print, thus appear glossy with a solid white interior of the box, which is made of different, thinner material. You can also identify them by the color and thickness from the gap in the box corners, and real shrink wrap has evenly spaced holes.) This is purely my opinion, but I believe it would rate around WATA 6-7. This item was imported from overseas approximately 10 years ago, before the era of the fairly elaborate counterfeit items that arose during the COVID pandemic, so there should be no mistakes. Please consider it as a mid-level rating collection piece. This product is non-refundable, so please be advised to bid carefully.
