Collector Commentary

The BE@RBRICK BAPE Mika Ninagawa SHARK 1000% BLUE is a standout piece that exemplifies the fusion of high art and streetwear culture, a hallmark of BAPE's design philosophy. Released in collaboration with acclaimed photographer Mika Ninagawa, this limited edition figure caters to both BE@RBRICK enthusiasts and collectors of fashion art toys, often seeing high demand due to its unique aesthetic and the artist's following. While the condition is new, the shipping box's scratches may affect perceived value, as collectors prioritize mint packaging, particularly for rare items like this that often fetch premium prices in Japan's active market. With BE@RBRICK's reputation for limited production runs, this figure not only captures a moment in contemporary art but also serves as a testament to Japan's vibrant culture of collectible design.
