Collector Commentary
This cel animation from *Dragon Ball GT*, produced by Toei Animation, captures the series' distinctive art style, which has become iconic among fans of the franchise. Released in 1996, *Dragon Ball GT* features a less prominent lore than its predecessors, yet its collectibles remain sought after, especially among enthusiasts valuing the show's unique characters and darker narrative arcs. While the seller notes wear that is not detailed, condition typically plays a significant role in the value of cels, with well-preserved pieces fetching higher bids in Japan's collector market, where authenticity and early production runs are paramount. Currently priced at ¥100,000, this auction sits within the reasonable range for rare animated artwork of this type, which often appreciates due to its limited availability and the nostalgia surrounding the *Dragon Ball* legacy.
