Collector Commentary
This cel animation from the iconic *Dragon Ball Z* franchise captures a significant moment in anime history, as the series originally aired from 1989 to 1996 and continues to influence pop culture. Produced during the peak of *Dragon Ball Z*’s popularity, collectors are often drawn to such limited edition cels due to their rarity and the high demand for characters like Goku and Vegeta, further heightened by their fidelity to the original artwork. The item's good condition is crucial, as cels are prone to fading and damage, making well-preserved pieces especially sought after. With this auction price reflecting a typical range for Japanese market collectibles of this nature, it underscores the enduring appeal of *Dragon Ball Z* memorabilia among dedicated fans and collectors.
