Collector Commentary
This limited edition cel art from the Dragon Ball Z theatrical release A501 captures a significant moment from one of the most beloved anime franchises in history, which originally aired in the late '80s and early '90s. Produced during a peak period of anime interest, these cels possess intrinsic value due to their unique connection to the animation process and their limited availability, especially in Japan where they were carefully stored and preserved. Dragon Ball Z continues to maintain strong collector demand, particularly for rare pieces like this, and the condition of the cel significantly affects its desirability, with proper archival quality enhancing its appeal. Given the current bidding position of ¥100,000, this cel reflects the market's acknowledgment of its rarity and historical significance within the anime collectible landscape.
