Collector Commentary

This authentic Dragon Ball animation cel, accompanied by its original hand-painted background, represents a cornerstone of anime production history, capturing iconic moments from the beloved franchise. Collectors value such items for their rarity and the tactile connection to the anime's production, particularly when sourced directly from Japan, where quality control and preservation often exceed international standards. The minor wear indicated is typical for cels of this era, but even slight imperfections can enhance the narrative authenticity, making this piece a compelling find for dedicated enthusiasts. Priced at ¥150,000, this cel sits within a reasonable range for similar pieces, reflecting both its market demand and the continuing popularity of the Dragon Ball franchise.
