Dragon Ball Cardass LIMITED 3000 Limited Edition Authentic Item

1 / 1

Description

This is an item won through a Jump magazine contest back in the day. It has been kept in storage for several decades, but unfortunately, it has some stains, creases, and peeling. There is some overall fading in color. There are three major defects: 1. Stains on the back. There are two large stains, but they do not affect the surface. 2. Peeling at the lower right corner of the front. There is a slight curve and peeling. 3. A crease at the lower left corner of the back. There is an actual crease, but it does not affect the surface and is not visible from the side. While I have photographed and described all the defects, please forgive me for any minor scratches, creases, or peeling that may be hard to notice. There has been a significant increase in malicious bidding and cancellations after winning due to lack of communication. This causes inconvenience to those who genuinely want the item, so I would appreciate your understanding. Returns are not accepted once the item has been shipped, in order to prevent swaps. I will ship the item inside a trading card case. Feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for your consideration.

Collector Commentary

Dragon Ball Cardass cards from contest giveaways represent a distinct tier within the Cardass ecosystem—these promotional pieces were produced in severely limited quantities (typically under 5,000 units) and were never available through standard retail channels, making them inherently scarcer than standard series cards. Jump magazine contest items carry provenance weight in the Japanese collector market, as ownership history can be verified through contemporary magazine records. Despite the documented condition issues (stains, peeling, creasing), a contest-origin LIMITED 3000 card retains collector interest because Cardass scarcity is driven more by production run size and distribution method than by condition grades; however, the surface defects do materially impact market value in a way standard play-wear would not.
