Collector Commentary
This original cel animation art from the iconic *Dragon Ball* series, which first aired in 1986, showcases the enduring popularity of this franchise among collectors. Cels from this era, especially when accompanied by production materials like backing paper and time sheets, are highly sought after due to their rarity and historical significance in the anime industry. The good condition noted here, despite minor wear typical for production cels, enhances its collectability, particularly given the growing demand for authentic, early-run items sourced directly from Japan. As collectors appreciate the craftsmanship behind *Dragon Ball*, this piece serves as both a nostalgic reminder and a valuable investment in a well-established market.
