Final Price: Rare 1965 Gibson Vintage 12-String Model B-25-12 in Good Condition

1 / 1

Description

This is a vintage Gibson B-25-12 made in 1965. I don’t want to let go of this guitar, but due to various circumstances, I have decided to list it for sale. However, if it doesn’t sell, I will continue using it. Gibson 12-string guitars are rare, and I believe this one is quite special. The B-25 size has a wider neck since it is a 12-string model, but its short scale makes the string tension comfortable and easy to play. It has excellent overtones and is truly a fantastic guitar. The weather checking adds to its aesthetic appeal, and the neck is straight with an adjustable saddle for string height adjustment. I have primarily used it tuned down a whole step, so the stress on the neck has been minimal. Since it is a vintage instrument, there are signs of wear consistent with age, but I ask that you understand it is pre-owned. Please note that I may not be able to answer all questions, so I appreciate your understanding. It comes with a replacement saddle (cow bone) and a hard case. While it is currently listed for auction, it may be withdrawn without notice. If anyone is seeking such an instrument, I kindly ask you to consider this listing. *Additionally, it is listed elsewhere, so it may sell out. I appreciate your understanding.*

This 1965 Gibson B-25-12 is a noteworthy collector's piece, given the brand's storied history and the 12-string's unique playability and sound. Gibson's vintage acoustics are highly sought after, particularly those made in the mid-60s, known for their craftsmanship and tonal richness. The guitar's condition, while showing age-related wear, is typical for instruments of this era and enhances its character for discerning players and collectors alike. In Japan, vintage Gibson guitars often command premium prices due to their authenticity and historical significance, making this a compelling opportunity for enthusiasts.
