Description

This is a three-seater sofa from the Danish furniture manufacturer France & Son.
The designer is Grete Jalk, and this is from the Model 118 series of sofas.
It has a wooden frame with springs and a belt base, topped with a firm cushion.
The arms feature a unique design that flares out slightly, resembling a boomerang.
The back is not straight but rather curved, providing flex and high durability.
This is a rare sofa that seldom appears on the secondhand market.
The cushions are firm, offering a stable seating experience.

Condition
The sponge on top of the springs under the seat has deteriorated.
It is easy to tear when pressed with a finger, so to prevent any powder from coming out, non-woven fabric has been applied.
There were noticeable scratches, so it has been sanded and lightly repainted.
The tip of the left arm from the front has some surface damage that is not visually apparent.
One cushion cover, when opened, has some opening in the sponge, but it is still functional.
There are stains on the white fabric under the seat.
