Collector Commentary
King Korpse represents a key title in INSTINCTOY's early sofubi output, designed by James Groman during the vinyl art toy boom of the 2000s. This black & white classic version exemplifies the hand-cast sofubi aesthetic that collectors prize—each figure exhibits slight variation in paint application and material density, making early Japanese domestic releases particularly desirable. Unopened examples with intact contents command premium over loose figures, though condition caveats (detached header, packaging wear) are typical for vintage sofubi and should be factored into value assessment; the sofubi medium itself remains stable if stored away from heat and light.
