Kamui Den Framed High-Quality Reproduction Art Print - Volume 1: Heart Journey Unused Rare Item

1 / 1

Description

This item is a rare reproduction art print from the 'Kamui Den' series, titled 'Heart Journey.' It was acquired over 25 years ago during a limited quantity purchase celebrating the 35th anniversary of the series, and has only been checked once upon purchase before being stored in a dark place without display. The print utilizes advanced relief printing technology from 2000, which gives it a realistic finish. This is one of three types in the series; the condition is unchanged since it was shipped, without any fading on the back and it remains unused and unframed. From my perspective, it is a complete item. I believe this state will seldom appear in the market again. The artwork features powerful graphic touches by Master Okamoto, along with a handwritten signature from Master Shirato. Please note that I will not accept bids from those who do not understand proper home storage care. Returns will not be accepted after the auction ends.

Collector Commentary

Kamui Den represents a cornerstone of postwar manga and gekiga, and reproduction prints from commemorative editions—especially early 2000s runs using advanced relief printing—are scarce in the original Japanese collector market. This 35th-anniversary print captures both Okamoto's graphic sensibility and Shirato's authentication through signature, making it a legitimate secondary artwork piece rather than a casual reprint. The 25-year dark storage provenance is critical: fading resistance and condition stability directly impact value for serious collectors of manga art ephemera, where original printing technique and creator attribution are paramount valuation factors.
