KATA Studio (Shoulder Blade) WF2025s Limited Edition 10 Units Godzilla '89 Sofubi Wonder Festival Godzilla KKS-001

1 / 1

Description

This item was acquired at last year's Wonder Festival WF2025S. It is the first commemorative figure from KATA studio, featuring Godzilla '89, KKS-001. Only 10 pieces were available during this Wonder Festival in Japan, with an additional 5 to be released during this winter's WF2026W, totaling just 15 figures. The header showcases the 70th anniversary logo, combined with the 2025 Godzilla licensing seal, making it undoubtedly a prestigious piece for the future. Out of all the Godzilla soft vinyl figures I own, this is the rarest and most treasured. Furthermore, there are plans to release Biollante in the future. The figure stands at approximately 25 cm tall and has a depth of around 28 cm. Its head alone is about 10 cm in height due to the chibi-style design. It is quite heavy, and although I couldn't measure it accurately, it exceeded the limit on my scale, which only goes up to 1 kg. The packaging is also large, indicating that the weight exceeds 1 kg. This soft vinyl is quite thick, weighing around double that of similarly sized figures. The paintwork is exceptional, featuring a variety of textures for teeth and skin, with both glossy and matte finishes. The dorsal fins are also meticulously crafted. It has articulated points at both wrists, shoulders, face, tail, and both legs. As previously mentioned, I was eager to open it after purchasing, but being a precious soft vinyl figure that just landed in Japan, I held back. The header, which you can see in the photos, still has the staple in the middle, but it was detached from the beginning due to its volume. As expected, it remains unopened. The buyer can decide freely, but the value of this logo header and the licensing seal is significantly high. It comes highly recommended for those who wish to display it as is. Due to the large header, I will package it with utmost care and send it at 120 cm.
