Collector Commentary
This lot of ten Nintendo 64 consoles, featuring the sought-after Clear Blue and Pikachu editions, represents a rare opportunity for collectors of retro gaming systems, particularly given the untested nature of the consoles which adds an element of risk. The N64, released by Nintendo in the mid-1990s, has a distinct place in gaming history, and these colored models, especially the Pikachu variant, often command higher prices due to their nostalgic value and limited availability. Given the unverified condition of these surplus stock units, potential bidders should be aware that any signs of wear could further impact their collectability, as pristine examples are typically valued higher. Sourced from Japan, these consoles benefit from local manufacturing quality and original packaging standards, which can be significant for purists in the collector community.
