Collector Commentary
This auction presents a bulk lot of 179 Nintendo Wii Motion Plus devices, a unique offering for both collectors and repair enthusiasts. Originally launched in 2009 to enhance gameplay responsiveness, the Motion Plus has become an essential accessory for a generation of Nintendo fans, particularly those who cherish the Wii’s iconic legacy. Collector demand can vary, especially given the unverified condition of this lot, which often leads to lower bids compared to verified units, as collectors typically seek pristine, fully functional items. The rarity of such accessories contributes to their value in the collector market, with Japan's early-run items often hailed for superior storage conditions and less handling, making them highly desirable for both nostalgia and functional use.
