Collector Commentary
The Mega Dream EX 2 BOX from the Pokémon Trading Card Game represents a notable collecting opportunity, especially given its brand new condition and status as a limited edition release. Released alongside the high-demand sets during the peak of the Pokémon TCG’s popularity, these packs are coveted by collectors for both nostalgic value and the potential rarity of premium cards inside. With the provenance of being sourced directly from Japan, collectors can appreciate the higher standards of preservation compared to international markets. This auction price of ¥13,500 aligns with the current collector sentiment, reflecting an ongoing interest in well-maintained, unopened products within the Japanese TCG community.
