Collector Commentary
The Mega Altaria ex SAR M2a 246/193 card exemplifies the popularity of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, particularly during the heightened interest surrounding the XY series, which first aired in 2013. As one of the rarer cards in this line, the SAR (Special Art Rare) designation adds to its desirability among collectors, ensuring robust demand for well-preserved specimens like this one. Manufactured by The Pokémon Company, known for its high-quality and meticulously designed cards, this piece's excellent condition enhances its value significantly in the competitive Japanese collector market. Given that it has been stored in a protective sleeve and shows no signs of wear, this card is a prime example of a sought-after collectible from an iconic franchise.
