Collector Commentary
The Mega Charizard Xex error card, part of the high-class Pokémon set released on November 28, 2025, is a notable find for collectors due to its unique Chinese foiling, which diverges from the typical Japanese print runs that collectors are accustomed to. Charizard, one of the franchise's most iconic Pokémon, consistently garners high demand within the market, making any rarity or error associated with it particularly sought after. This card's condition, preserved in a sleeve since acquisition, is crucial for collectors who prioritize quality and authenticity, especially given the Japanese market's emphasis on well-maintained items. With a current bid of ¥180,000, this card reflects the strong collector interest and the increasing value of error variants in this popular series.
