Pokémon Cards - Old Back Designs

1 / 1

Description

Now up for auction, I am also listing these on Mercari! These are Pokémon cards that I loved collecting in my younger days. My collection has become so extensive that it was quite a challenge to list them individually... I couldn't include all of them in the photos, but I will ship a whole cardboard box packed with my entire collection, which includes Pokémon-related books, movie merchandise, badges, keychains, and more. All the cards are from the old back designs, but I also have a semi-complete file of cards from the cp6 series that I was collecting separately. The cp6 Charizard "Full Holo Version" is likely one of only a few in the world, and I personally consider it to be a very rare card. Additionally, I have special discount tickets and viewing tickets from the movie 'Lugia's Birth,' which are also extremely valuable and I believe there are almost no surviving copies! Due to the sheer number of items in my collection, I will not be responding to inquiries like, "Do you have this?" I encourage you to enjoy the surprises when you open the box. The cards housed in files and loaders are in relatively clean condition, with almost no scratches. Please consider buying! I believe the value of Pokémon cards will continue to rise, so you won't regret your purchase! Collectors and YouTubers are especially welcome! #PokémonCards #Pokémon #OldBack

Collector Commentary

This auction features a highly sought-after collection of Pokémon cards, particularly highlighted by the rare cp6 Charizard 'Full Holo Version,' which is a significant find among collectors due to its limited print run and the nostalgia associated with the original art styles. The inclusion of old back designs elevates the collection's allure, as these cards resonate with a vintage appeal in a market that has seen a resurgence in interest for retro Pokémon memorabilia. Given the excellent condition of the cards and their provenance as Japanese originals—often better preserved than their international counterparts—this lot represents an enticing opportunity for dedicated collectors. Additionally, the inclusion of unique movie-related items further adds to its collectability, tying in with the enduring legacy of the Pokémon franchise that began in the late '90s.
