Collector Commentary
This unopened Pokémon Trading Card Game pack from the Extra Battle Day series represents a significant milestone in the franchise, which first captured the hearts of fans with its anime debut in 1997. The rarity of this item is amplified by its limited release within specialized shops in Japan; cards from such niche events are particularly sought after by collectors who appreciate the authenticity and early-run aspects of Japanese versions. The brand's longstanding reputation for quality collectibles, coupled with the pristine condition of this unopened pack, positions it favorably in the collector market. With bids at ¥4,800,000, this item reflects the current trend of rising prices for rare Pokémon memorabilia, especially those that remain untouched and are preserved in optimal condition.
