Collector Commentary
The MEGA Dream EX series represents a sought-after segment within the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released during a peak era for the franchise that resonates with fans and collectors alike. These unopened boxes, preserved in original shrink wrap, offer a level of assurance that appeals to serious collectors, given that condition significantly impacts value within the market. Produced by reputable manufacturers known for their attention to detail and commitment to quality, these items are exceptionally rare, as complete sets of such a scale seldom surface, especially in Japan where collectors favor authentic, early-run versions. At a current bid of ¥1,190,000, this lot reflects both the enduring popularity of Pokémon and the strong demand for tightly sealed products among dedicated enthusiasts.
