Collector Commentary
This PSA 10 Mega Gengar ex from the Pokémon Trading Card Game represents a continuation of the franchise's enduring popularity, particularly noted for the release of its Mega Evolution forms introduced in Pokémon X and Y. With the card's pristine condition and limited MA rarity from the High-Class Pack MEGA Dream ex series, it appeals strongly to collectors seeking high-quality, authentic Japanese cards. The Mega Gengar character has consistently seen interest due to its competitive playability and iconic design, making this piece especially desirable within the Japanese market, where cards are often better preserved. Given the increasing demand for early-run items like this, the current price of ¥14,500 reflects a reasonable valuation for such a high-grade collectible in the realm of Pokémon.
