Rare 60's-70's Vintage HARLEY DAVIDSON Embroidered Velour Souvenir Blouson Jacket

1 / 1

Description

This is a vintage HARLEY DAVIDSON embroidered blouson jacket from the 1960s to 1970s. Although there is no brand tag, it captures the essence of biker culture from that era. The striking gold eagle embroidery is stunning, found on the back and both sleeves. The black, firm velour fabric offers a beautiful contrast with the gold embroidery, making for a compelling presence. Please note that this is not soft velour but has a harder texture. The zipper is a VENUS brand. This jacket has a fantastic vibe. There are some issues: a spot at the right seam where the black lining is visible, but it does not affect wearability. Slight rubbing is visible on both shoulders. There is a small cut at the upper part of the right pocket, but it isn't noticeable unless you look closely at the fabric. ◆60’s-70’s unknown vintage HARLEY DAVIDSON ◆Size Total length: 66cm Width: 53cm Shoulder width: 45cm Sleeve length: 60cm *Please note that no claims or cancellations will be accepted after the auction. Collector Commentary

This vintage HARLEY DAVIDSON blouson jacket from the 1960s to 1970s encapsulates the spirit of classic biker culture, featuring striking gold eagle embroidery that appeals to discerning collectors of Americana and fashion history. The lack of a branded tag suggests it may have been produced as a souvenir piece, heightening its rarity, while the visual wear and unique texture of the firm velour fabric offer insights into its storied past. In the context of Japanese market pricing for vintage apparel, this piece, despite its condition issues, could attract serious bids reflecting the collectors' willingness to pay for well-preserved symbols of nostalgic subculture.
