Collector Commentary
The Super Rare Markless Initial Three Start Pokémon + Pikachu PSA8 8-Piece Set represents a pivotal moment in Pokémon history, featuring iconic Kanto starters whose nostalgia drives collector demand. The markless series stands out not only for its scarcity but also for the pristine presentation of beloved characters, significantly heightening its appeal among seasoned collectors. Graded at PSA 8, this set reflects excellent condition, while the upward price trend seen in high-grade Pikachu cards—often exceeding ¥10 million for top grades—underscores the investment potential inherent in these early releases. Given Japan's reputation for preserving pristine cards, this collection is a prime example of why the domestic market remains a vital resource for discerning collectors.
