Collector Commentary
This silkscreen print featuring Fuunji Teppei, created by Tetsuya Chiba in September 1997, reflects the artistry and character depth that has made "Fuunji Teppei" a notable piece within the anime landscape. Chiba, known for his distinctive style and attention to detail, elevates collector interest, particularly when the piece is artist-signed, enhancing its uniqueness. Given that it is framed and in excellent condition, this print is a rare find among modern Japanese art collectibles, particularly appealing in a market increasingly leaning towards limited edition and artist-signed works. The price point of ¥220,000 is consistent with the demand for original works from this period, especially those that resonate with devoted fans of Chiba's contributions to anime history.
