Description

☆☆ Limited New Year's Sale Until January 4th of Reiwa Year 8!! ☆☆

First come, first served! Priority will be given to the first bidder, so don't miss out!!

During the previous two-day Christmas sale, a potential buyer arose, leading to the auction's cancellation as I discussed the sale with them. However, it seems they could not secure the necessary funds, so I am relisting it for a limited time at a reduced New Year's price. Please use the price drop to cover transportation and repair costs!

After the New Year, the starting price will revert to the original price of 520,000 yen, and the buyout price will return to 750,000 yen! Thank you for your understanding.

This is an auction for the Triumph T90!

I purchased this a few years ago with the intention of repairing it and taking it on the road someday. However, due to my busy schedule, it has remained in a neglected state. It's sad to let it go to waste, and I'd love for someone to restore it and enjoy it on the road, which is why I am listing it now.

◎ I have done almost nothing to it since purchase, so it is currently a non-operational vehicle.
※ Please consider it as a complete base vehicle.
When I purchased it, the previous owner mentioned it was operational until a few years ago. However, they also stopped using it, which led to my acquisition of it in this condition.

◎ It kicks over, and there feels like some compression when kicked, so I think starting with the fuel and ignition systems would be a good idea! There are signs of oil leaks or seepage in various places, so if you have time and money, you may consider overhauling the engine over the long term.

◎ The registration history is unclear, but it has been registered as a light motorcycle (250CC) since I purchased it. The documents I will provide are for the deregistration of the light motorcycle and a transfer certificate. The registration process wasn't completed on my end, so the deregistration document will be under the previous owner's name.
※ I take no responsibility for the registration process, so please proceed at your own risk.

◎ While it can kickstart, there may be wear on the spline of the kick pedal or kick shaft. Some minor fixes have been made, but the pedal feels a bit loose when kicking.

◎ It may appear more worn in person than in the photos.

◎ The speedometer is likely not original, with various modifications and DIY repairs evident throughout.
Despite this, I believe it has reasonable parts for a base vehicle and is overall in satisfactory shape.

※ This is a rough overview of its current state. I welcome bids from knowledgeable individuals, those who have contacts at repair shops, or anyone looking to take on a restoration challenge!!

※ Since this is a personal sale, please respect the 3-N policy. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

※ I will be available for vehicle inspections if our schedules align. Frankly, it would give me peace of mind if the vehicle could be inspected.

※ Please arrange transportation yourself as the winning bidder. Those unfamiliar will receive guidance, so please do not worry. If utilizing BAS, I will deliver the vehicle to the Fukuroi Depot, but an additional fee of 5,000 yen will be charged for vehicle delivery, separate from the final auction price.

As I notice any further points, I will provide additional explanations, so please keep checking back.

※ The vehicle has been suddenly bought at a buyout price, but the buyer contacted me stating they mistakenly won the auction. Please be careful when bidding!

I apologize to previous watchers; I would appreciate your continued interest in the auction!

Collector Commentary

The Triumph T90 motorcycle is a notable piece of British automotive history, representing a classic era of design and engineering that enthusiasts cherish. With a light motorcycle registration, its potential for restoration appeals to collectors who appreciate the craftsmanship and character of vintage bikes. Given the current bidding price in relation to the UK and Japan markets, this offers a rare opportunity for restoration projects, especially from a source noted for its historical significance. As such vehicles often carry sentimental value, their scarcity coupled with the potential for custom work makes them prime candidates for collectors aligned with the motorcycling heritage.
