【Product Description】
I have decided to part with my cherished Pokémon cards due to personal circumstances.
File No. 1 and No. 2 are nearly complete with the first series of original Pokémon cards, based on the 'Pokémon Card Official Book 2000.' The trainer cards included are only the ones believed to be rare, such as those from the ‘Team Rocket’ set. There are no energy cards included.
Cards listed in 'Pokémon Card Official Book 2000' but not available (excluding tournament winning cards) are:
- The “Flying Pikachu” ANA gift card
- The “Surfing Pikachu” JA Stamp Rally special card
- The “Imakun’s Doduo” from Gym expansion set Vol. 2: Challenge from the Darkness
- The “Kangaskhan” prize card from the Kangaskhan parent-child event
- The “Magikarp” from Shogakukan grade magazines Tamamushi University Hyper Doctor Test prize card
These five cards are not included.
Cards not listed in ‘Pokémon Card Official Book 2000’ include:
- “Bad Ivysaur” from the Trainer's Book bonus card
- “Bad Venusaur” from the Trainer's Book bonus card (holographic)
- “Charmander” McDonald's bonus card (holographic)
- “Charizard” Premium file No. 2 (two cards, holographic)
- “Squirtle” McDonald's bonus card (holographic)
- “Butterfree” from the second series (two cards, holographic)
- “Spearow” from the second series (holographic)
- “Bad Raichu” from the second series (two cards, holographic)
- “Rokon” McDonald's bonus card
- “Nyorobon” from the second series (holographic)
- “Kabutops” from the second series (three cards, holographic)
- “Thunder” from the third series? (holographic)
- “Shiny Mew” from CoroCoro Comic bonus card (holographic)
- “Ancient Mew” from the Legendary Pokémon Lugia awakening pamphlet (two cards, holographic)
Among others, totaling 82 cards.
File No. 3 contains the second series, not complete but with a good amount of promotion cards.
In total, files No. 1 to No. 3 contain 1,716 cards, if counted correctly.
The 'Pokémon Card Official Book 2000' will also be included.
Condition:
1. Cards:
- No. 1 and No. 2:
Immediately filed upon acquisition, hence they are unused. A few acquired through trades are not unused.
- No. 3:
All cards personally obtained and immediately filed, hence they are unused.
2. Files:
There are some signs of use and scratches but they have been wrapped in large bath towels for preservation, so considering the years they have been saved, I believe they are in quite good condition.
3. 'Pokémon Card Official Book 2000':
The cover has some scratches but no fading. The spine does show fading. The pages inside have been carefully handled and are in excellent condition.
While the price may seem high, I am confident that there is even greater value, hence my decision to list this auction.
Thank you for reading the explanation.
