【Product Description】
For personal reasons, I've decided to part with my Pokémon cards, which are like heirlooms to me.

They are marked as “unused.”
However, since I have touched the cards once and placed them in a folder, there may be barely visible scratches or a film of oil. Please only purchase if you understand this. No return and no complaints, please.

File No. 1 and No. 2 contain almost a full collection of the original first series and the "Pokémon Card Official Book 2000." However, only Trainer cards that are deemed valuable, such as "Team Rocket's Meowth," are included. Energy cards are not included.

The cards that are listed in the "Pokémon Card Official Book 2000" but are not present include, excluding tournament prize cards:
- "Flying Pikachu" ANA Present Card
- "Surfing Pikachu" JA Stamp Rally Special Card
- "Imakuni's Doduo" Gym Expansion Second Edition Challenge from Darkness
- "Gyarados" Gyarados Parent-Child Tournament Prize Card
- "Magikarp" Shogakukan Shogaku Annual Magazine Tamamushi University Hyper Doctor Exam Prize Card
These five cards are missing.

Other cards not listed in the "Pokémon Card Official Book 2000" include:
- "Bad Bulbasaur" Trainer’s Book Bonus Card
- "Bad Venusaur" Trainer’s Book Bonus Card (Holo)
- "Charmander" McDonald's Bonus Card (Holo)
- "Charizard" Premium File 2 2 pieces (Holo)
- "Squirtle" McDonald's Bonus Card (Holo)
- "Butterfree" Second Series 2 pieces (Holo)
- "Beedrill" Second Series (Holo)
- "Bad Raichu" Second Series 2 pieces (Holo)
- "Vulpix" McDonald's Bonus Card
- "Poliwrath" Second Series (Holo)
- "Kabutops" Second Series 3 pieces (Holo)
- "Zapdos" Third Series? (Holo)
- "Shining Mew" CoroCoro Comic Bonus Card (Holo)
- "Ancient Mew" Pokémon Mythical Lugia Movie Pamphlet Supplement 2 pieces (Holo)
And more, totaling 82 cards.

File No. 3 is from the second series and is not complete, but it does include a lot of promotional cards collected, so it is quite a collection.

The total number of cards across No. 1 to No. 3 is 1716, assuming no counting errors.

The "Pokémon Card Official Book 2000" is also included.

Condition
1. Cards
For No. 1 and No. 2,
they were filed immediately after acquisition, so they are unused. About four cards obtained through trades are not unused.
For No. 3,
all cards were personally acquired and filed immediately, so they are unused.

2. Files
There are signs of use and scratches, but they were wrapped in a large bath towel for storage, so considering the years in storage, they are in fairly good condition with no fading.

3. "Pokémon Card Official Book 2000"
The cover has some scratches. There is no fading.
The band has certainly faded.
The pages of the main text have been carefully handled, so they are in excellent condition.

You may think the price is astonishing, but I offered it confidently because it holds more value to me than that.

Collector Commentary

This semi-complete set of first series Pokémon cards, featuring valuable trainer cards and the accompanying "Pokémon Card Official Book 2000," holds significant appeal for collectors, particularly given its unique sourcing from Japan, a primary market for early Pokémon memorabilia. Despite minor imperfections, the condition of the unused cards enhances their desirability, especially as most early Pokémon cards are known for their scarcity and historical importance since the franchise's explosive debut in the late 1990s. Collectors often seek such comprehensive sets for their rarity and nostalgic value, with prices reflecting the high demand for authentic, vintage pieces that capture the essence of the Pokémon phenomenon. As the market continues to evolve, discerning collectors recognize the long-term potential of early-run cards like these in Japan's robust collectibles landscape.
