Yoshitaka Amano Cloud on Harley Davidson

Collector Commentary

This Yoshitaka Amano–designed Cloud figure represents a rare collaboration between Square and Harley-Davidson, a limited licensing project that never saw wide reissue. Amano's distinctive art direction—evident in the sculpt and paint application—commands premium prices in the Japanese domestic market, where early-run production was tightly controlled. The combination of video game IP, legendary character designer, and motorcycle brand partnership creates a deeply niche collectible with minimal secondary market supply; storage kept examples like this in better condition than typical played or displayed pieces, directly affecting the collector premium.
