Zoldmen Izumonster Black Clear with Red Eyes

Collector Commentary

Zoldmen's Izumonster line represents a niche corner of 1980s Japanese soft vinyl collectibles, with color variants like this black clear with red eyes commanding attention among specialists. The black clear formulation with painted red eyes is a known variant that typically appears in lower production runs compared to standard opaque colorways, making condition-preserved examples increasingly difficult to locate. Soft vinyl figures from this era are susceptible to plasticizer degradation and paint loss, so an excellent-condition example without stickiness signals either careful storage or fortunate material chemistry—both factors that sustain collector interest and pricing at this level.
