## Collector note
Zippo brass lighters with engraved detailing appeal primarily to utility collectors and smoking goods enthusiasts rather than character/IP collectors. The six-sided engraving pattern and brass construction suggest a higher-end domestic Japanese variant, though production period variations in markings (noted by seller) indicate these were likely manufactured across multiple years without strict serialization controls. Condition is paramount in lighter collecting—this NOS (new old stock) example commands value precisely because it remains unused, with original fuel characteristics and patina potential intact. The opacity around exact production date and variant specifics is typical of Japanese domestic lighter releases, where batch documentation was often minimal.
