## Collector note
Zippo lighters remain a stable collectible category, with brass construction and limited-edition variants attracting both functional users and design-focused collectors. The Indian-style motif suggests a niche regional or commemorative release—likely a Japan domestic market special run—which typically sees limited circulation compared to standard models. Brass Zippos develop patina over time, making unused examples increasingly valued by collectors seeking to preserve original finish; however, the minimal condition premium on most Zippo variants means this item's appeal rests primarily on design scarcity and the specific Indian-inspired aesthetic rather than production rarity alone.
