## Collector note
This 100-piece set of Hello Kitty local area straps and charms showcases the enduring appeal of the beloved character, rooted in a franchise that debuted in 1974 and has since become a global cultural icon. Items in this lot, especially those in unused condition, are sought after for their limited summer editions and local area connections, which often resonate with collectors seeking unique merchandise from Japan. Manufactured by Sanrio, known for its high-quality character goods, these collectibles reflect a blend of nostalgia and Japanese marketing creativity, although the noted wear and stains can affect desirability and value in the secondhand market. Collectors should note that while some items may show signs of rust or packaging wear, the authenticity and regional specificity enhance their rarity within the context of contemporary Hello Kitty merchandise.
