## Collector note
The Mega Gengar ex MA 230/193 card, a hallmark of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, is celebrated for its striking design and is particularly sought after due to Gengar's enduring popularity within the franchise since it first debuted in the original Pokémon series in the late 1990s. This ARS Graded 10 specimen stands out for its pristine condition, which is crucial in the collector's market, as high-grade cards of this type can command fascinating prices, often reflecting the rarity of limited edition releases. As a Japanese-produced card, it benefits from better storage conditions and quality control, making it an attractive acquisition for both competitive players and serious collectors alike.
