Saito Kiyo is known for his mastery of traditional Ukiyo-e techniques, and this signed piece exemplifies the elegance of mid-20th century Japanese artistic expression. The reframing adds a modern touch, though the patina of age on the original mat underscores its historical authenticity, making it a compelling collectible for both art enthusiasts and those who appreciate the cultural heritage of Japan. With current bidding at ¥249,999, the pricing reflects the rarity and significance of such limited-run woodblock prints in the collector market. ## Images - https://auctions.c.yimg.jp/images.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/image/dr000/auc0204/user/854170dec6b108d4d9156a194ff72ed7128324118c9cb17dadc1b47be7e40676/i-img600x400-177666241722961blk4i4958.jpg ## Links - View on Rinkya: https://www.rinkya.com/discover/item/authentic-1974-woodblock-print-by-saito-kiyo-katsura-imperial-villa-ky-g1227190281 - Find live items like this: https://www.rinkya.com/discover/live --- Rinkya is a proxy bidding & shopping service for buyers outside Japan.
