## Collector note
This authentic Teppei Sasakura silkscreen titled "Illumination" exemplifies the vibrant artistry that attracts collectors of contemporary Japanese art, particularly from a rising artist known for his intricate details and unique color palettes. Sasakura's pieces are sought after for their limited runs, and this hand-signed edition adds significant value, though the noticeable scratch on the acrylic could impact its overall market attractiveness. Given the established reputation of the original silk-screening process in Japan, this work also showcases the high-quality craftsmanship that collectors appreciate, especially within the environment of domestic production. Pricing near ¥120,000 reflects the growing interest in Sasakura’s work within the collector community while remaining consistent with similar offerings in the Japanese secondary market.
