## Collector note
The 3DS-LL Development Unit, known in international markets as the 3DS-XL Panda Test Unit, represents a unique piece of gaming history from Nintendo, emphasizing the company's commitment to innovation during the 3DS era, which launched in 2011. As a development unit, it is exceedingly rare and sought after by collectors, particularly due to its pristine, unused condition and limited availability, which often drives up demand. Collectors appreciate items that showcase a manufacturer's experimental or prototype phases, and Nintendo's renowned reputation for quality further elevates this unit's desirability in the collector community. With a current bid of ¥438,000, this piece reflects the significant premium that domestic Japanese collectors are willing to pay for authentic, early-run products that capture the essence of nostalgia and product evolution in gaming.
