## Collector note
The PlayStation 5 Pro (CFI-7000B01), released on November 7, 2024, is poised to become a notable piece for collectors, especially given Sony's reputation for high-quality gaming hardware and thoughtfully designed systems. As a limited release from a franchise that consistently garners passionate following in Japan and globally, the pristine condition of this unopened unit elevates its desirability. With typical Japanese market pricing reflecting both early adoption and exclusivity, this auction price is consistent with the collector's trend of valuing new, sealed items. The rarity of unopened consoles plays significantly into collector demand, echoing patterns observed in previous console launches.
