## Description
This is a cel animation from the classic film 'Castle in the Sky'.
It features some adhesive residue on the edges.
Please note, this item is sold as-is; no claims or returns will be accepted.

## Collector note
Castle in the Sky cels remain highly sought by animation art collectors, particularly pieces from Studio Ghibli's theatrical releases where production runs were finite and cel preservation was inconsistent. The adhesive residue noted here is a common issue from mounting or storage methods used during the 1980s, and its presence typically reflects honest condition assessment rather than diminished collector appeal—Ghibli cels with visible production history often command stronger interest than suspiciously pristine examples. Authentic theatrical cels from this production are scarce in the secondary market, as many were retained by the studio, lost to poor storage, or remained in Japan's domestic collector ecosystem; international availability drives valuation significantly.
