## Collector note
This hand-painted cell from *Dragon Ball Z* captures the essence of the iconic series, which debuted in Japan in 1989 and quickly gained a massive following. Produced during the peak of the franchise's popularity, authentic animation cels like this one are highly sought after for their artistic value and rarity, especially with characters like Goku and Vegeta reaching premium prices in collector circles. The condition here, noted as excellent with minor wear, is a critical factor given the fragility of cels, while the authenticity verification through video adds significant confidence for serious collectors. With pricing hovering around ¥100,000, this piece reflects a stable market interest for Dragon Ball Z memorabilia, indicating sustained demand within the Japanese collector scene.
