## Description
This listing features a collection of old banknotes and foreign currency discovered during an estate cleanup. Please be aware that the overall condition of the notes is poor, with some being torn. Ensure you understand this before making a purchase.

## Collector note
This collection of old banknotes and foreign currency, while in poor condition with torn notes, offers a rare glimpse into Japan's historical financial landscape, appealing to niche collectors of vintage currency. Historical significance enhances the desirability of such items, particularly for those interested in the evolution of currency and economic history. Authentic Japanese notes, especially with unique traits linked to specific eras, can command attention in the collector community despite their condition. However, collectors should approach this auction with caution, assessing the potential restoration costs and the long-term appreciation of damaged currencies in the market.
