## Collector note
This Godzilla soft vinyl figure from the Showa era, produced by Marusan, exemplifies the classic sculpting style highly regarded among kaiju collectors, reflecting the character's iconic status in Japanese pop culture since the 1950s. The included Tokyo Tower accessory enhances its nostalgic value, positioning it as a centerpiece for any serious collection. While the figure exhibits notable wear and damage, its rarity still commands attention and interest in the collector market, particularly since vintage items from this period are increasingly hard to find in Japan. Prices like the current bid of ¥155,980 are indicative of the ongoing demand for authentic, early-run pieces that celebrate the legacy of Japan's kaiju films.
