## Collector note
This original background animation and layout illustration from the iconic *Dragon Ball* series exemplifies the early stages of anime production, capturing both the nostalgia and artistry of a beloved franchise that first aired in 1986. Collectors highly value these unique pieces due to their limited availability and the historical significance they hold within the anime industry, particularly from a show that has seen immense global popularity. Designed as part of the original production process, this item reflects the craftsmanship and detail that Go Nagai’s *Toei Animation* is known for, while slight surface imperfections are typical for vintage animation art. Priced at ¥98,000, this piece aligns with the current market trends for authentic Japanese animation art, appealing to dedicated collectors seeking both rarity and character significance.
