## Collector note
This hand-drawn cel from the Dragon Ball movie highlights the artistry of one of the most influential anime franchises, which first captivated audiences with its original series airing in 1986. Collectors are particularly drawn to authentic production materials, especially those with original backgrounds, as they embody the history of the anime's animation process and are increasingly rare due to limited initial releases. The presence of slight aging marks is typical for vintage cels but does not detract from their desirability among serious collectors, especially given that Japan’s market tends to prioritize authentic and well-preserved items. Pricing at ¥98,000 reflects a reasonable entry point for collectors of this caliber, considering the significance and rarity of original cels in today’s market.
