## Description
This is an error coin from the Heisei era, specifically from year 3. Error coins from this era are quite rare and are not often seen in circulation or auctions.

## Collector note
This error coin from the Heisei era, specifically year 3, represents a unique intersection of numismatic history and Japanese culture, as error coins are highly sought after by both collectors and historians. Rarely encountered in the market, it benefits from its limited availability and the significant interest within the coin collecting community, particularly for pieces originating from the Heisei period. Japanese coins often maintain higher value due to their domestic provenance and the meticulous care with which they are stored, enhancing their appeal among serious collectors. The current bid reflects a reasonable expectation given the rarity and the established collector patterns surrounding vintage error coins in Japan.
