Released in the late 1980s, this particular model has seen steady interest in the collector market due to its limited availability and iconic status, especially in the sought-after navy color. The excellent condition with only minor surface scratches enhances its desirability, as collectors often prioritize well-preserved items, reflecting the meticulous care typically taken by Japanese owners. Current pricing reflects the robust demand for such high-end designer handbags in Japan, emphasizing their role as both functional accessories and investment pieces. ## Images - https://auctions.c.yimg.jp/images.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/image/dr000/auc0107/user/855650bc1867731daea3071310d6bf94e37f1a49f29e630f5b97712c4ee52bbd/i-img1200x1200-17531661524496ixpdjr531.jpg ## Links - View on Rinkya: https://www.rinkya.com/discover/item/excellent-condition-secured-hermes-birkin-40-vaucaline-leather-handbag-r1193569194 - Find live items like this: https://www.rinkya.com/discover/live --- Rinkya is a proxy bidding & shopping service for buyers outside Japan.
