## Description
This is a Pokémon "Shining Mew" card from the May 2001 issue of CoroCoro Comic, graded PSA9.
It was returned from grading in February 2026 and has received a MINT 9 rating based on the latest PSA standards.

A PSA 10 version has already sold for over 5 million yen and continues to rise in value, with a notable swirl holo within the circle of the tail.
This specimen is ideal for any collection.

The reason for not achieving a PSA 10 rating could be due to back centering issues (based on measurements taken before submission, this seems to be within acceptable limits). However, this is strictly the seller's subjective view, so please make your own judgment based on the photographs.

Brand: Pokémon Trading Card Game
Product Name: Shining Mew
Model Number: No. 151
Condition: Although it is a PSA graded card, there may be initial scratches, whitening, or scuff marks on the card, as well as potential scuffs, dirt, or initial scratches on the case.

Thank you for your consideration.

## Collector note
The Shining Mew promotional card from CoroCoro Comic's May 2001 issue remains a prized item among Pokémon collectors due to its nostalgic connection to the franchise's early days and its rarity, emphasized by the unique swirl holo design. Graded PSA9, this specimen benefits from the meticulous standards of the PSA grading process, although slight wear from initial handling brings it just shy of the coveted PSA10 rating. Collectors often seek out this card not only for its artistic appeal but also as an investment, as PSA10 versions have fetched over 5 million yen, reflecting the strong demand for well-preserved pieces from Japan's early-run offerings. Given the fluctuating market for Japanese collectibles, this card's provenance through CoroCoro adds a layer of authenticity prized by dedicated enthusiasts.
