## Collector note
This 1999 China Record pressing represents a significant regional variant of Faye Wong's "Eyes On Me," the iconic Final Fantasy VIII theme that achieved massive crossover success across Asia. The SCD-436 catalog number and bilingual packaging (Mandarin/Japanese EMI branding) reflect the geopolitical complexity of late-1990s music distribution, making mainland Chinese pressings notably scarcer than Taiwan or Hong Kong variants in the collector market. Condition matters substantially here: surface noise from disc scratches will audibly degrade playback of an already emotionally resonant vocal performance, and jacket wear reduces display appeal for collectors who value both sonic and aesthetic integrity of rare regional editions.
